you can try apply a family visit visa at the immigration in garafa two to three days result if you have proper documents like company contracts be sure its translated in arabic, certificate from the company with your position and salary in arabic also, birth certificate and marriage cert. with red ribbon and qatar embassy stamp and be sure file them morning only...good luck...

If the visa you applied is 1 month only and not family visa, i don't think it's extendable. you can only get the Family visit if you apply for the family visit. My suggestion, apply for a family visit visa before their visa expire, then get them to exit Bahrain and come back with the family visa which is good for 6 months.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

the salary bracket of those husbands who wanted to sponsor their family. Chances of the middle income Asian expats with hope to bring their family here are getting thinner. :(

I also received news that visa requirements are getting strict and the minimum salary to sponsor family has been increased.

But can anyone confirm if it is 7,000 QAR or 7,500 QAR ?

Because the news that came to me said it is now 7,500 QAR

You are right Arien, it is.. those people applying with less than the required minimum base salary will be rejected.

Heard your wife left you,

How upset you must be.

basic salary should be 7thou...i'm trying to transfer my company visa into my husband. But they don't want to accept as his basic salary is only 5thou..But I insist if we can try...and they reject it and we just ask for a meeting with the committee nxt month. Enshala they will understand and they will give me transfer of sponsorship with my husband..

Goodluck...

If labour department rejected your family visa there will be a reason because labour department has some conditions in order to do so ... Like example the first condition your salary and post ... your basic should not be less than 5000 .... i think if you full fill there conditions they will approve it ...

In this case if yes the conditions are OK then you can meet "ZHABIT" col. in labour department ,meet them they will assist you well

Best of luck dear
