lailat al kadr
The Night of" Power" or "Destiny" is an extremely important night for Muslims. It is the night in which the code of guidance, the Holy Quran, was revealed from the Messenger of the Universe to Prophet Muhammad. The Quran was revealed in Ramadan (2:185), and traditionally Muslims celebrate the Night of Power on the 27th night of Ramadan.
God describes this night as better than a thousand months. During that night, the angels and the Spirit descend therein, by God’s leave, to carry out every command (97:1-5).
Because the Night of Power is such a special night, those Muslims (Submitters) who want to gain extra credit of righteousness spend the night by commemorating God the Almighty either in their privacy or in a mosque with other Muslims. There are also some Muslims who retreat to a mosque in the last ten days of Ramadan to take advantage of God’s blessings further and increase their faith of submission.
Although the Night of Power falls on the 27th night of Ramadan, the followers of satanic innovations are never sure about it. They have their own books to follow beside the Quran a.k.a. hadiths (sayings attributed to the prophet). In one of them, Sahih Bukhary, it is claimed that the prophet and his companions knew the precise night, but later God caused it to be forgotten. In still another hadith, it is reported that the "Night of Power" keeps changing from one year to another, whatever this means.
so ,I wish you all a Happy Lailat al Kadr (27th of Ramadan), may God bless you all.
But it seems you think I live a disgraceful life. How can you possibly place yourself in the position to judge me, my actions and what is in my heart? Is this what being a good Muslim means to you? Ya'Allah.....

Even though this thread is delusional, i wonder why mods not deleting this one? if it is something worldly matters, they always do a research and delete the same. why not religious ones?
Btw, Eco, PM.. How are you guys doing ? :)
to see if the Brazil v England game is going to happen here in November; now England have qualified not a word from Qatar authorities or the English FA. Heard anything there?

Adey, no. Probably not. I agree with PM that English is not her first language and she probably cut and paste something haphazardly and did not even read it in entirety.
But if Eco knows of her and/or has dealt with her prior then she may have more insight to her motive behind writing such a callous and inflammatory statement that she apparently did not mean to say.
As one of the great Islamic scholars of the 8th CE century said, “The Believer to the Believer is like two hands, one of them washing the other. And indeed the dirt cannot be removed, except by some form of coarseness. So cleanliness and softness only comes about by obligating that initial roughness.”*

And indeed I have used playful and descriptive words with certain individuals if I feel there is a benefit. Particularly with "F-U aka The dude" until he decided to calm down and approach things from a better angle.
They call it the American dream because you have to be asleep to see it... --George Carlin
When a quarrel intensifies, when its roots go deeper, its thorns become branches and branches increase in number, then the freshness of the fruits of faith is adversely affected. Softness, sympathy, satisfaction and peace, which are encouraged by the Islamic teachings, receive a setback. Performance of worship loses its righteousness, while the self get no benefit from it.
Many a time Satan is not able to persuade wise men to worship idols, but since he is very keen on misguiding and ruining men, he manages to succeed in driving them away from God, so much so that these wise men become more indifferent in respecting the rights of God than the idolaters themselves. The best method adopted by the devil for this purpose is to sow the seeds of enmity in the hearts of the people. When this enmity develops into a fire and open hostilities result, he enjoys the scene. This fire burns man's present and future into ashes and totally destroys their relationship and virtues.
The Messenger of Allah said: "The Satan has been disappointed that he would not be worshipped in the Arabian Peninsula, but he has not been disappointed from kindling the fire of fighting among the people." (Muslim)
Would that make any difference to the way in which she addresses people?
:)
I know you are forthright in your opinions but I have never seen you use degrading language towards anyone.

Assalaamu alaikum Brothers and sisters. Be soft to each other. It is not correct to act rude and hurt each others feelings. Read this hadith:
The Prophet said: "Listen, may I not tell you something more important than salat, fasting and charity?" The people requested him to do so. He said: "To keep the mutual relationship on the right footing, because the defect in the mutual relationship is a thing which shaves a thing clean. I do not mean that it shaves the hair, but that it shaves (removes) the religion." (at-Tirmidhi)
one occasion that she is a Salafi. That is what I meant by not confusing her actions or those of the so-called Salafis with the early Muslims, or Salaf.
I didn't drink the kool-aid! -- PM
Adey & PM, I believe and I could be mistaken that Eco was referring to the salaf as the first 3 generations of Muslims and not people who attempt to adhere to that methodology today.
I think Eco was using the plural of salaf (salafs)...
They call it the American dream because you have to be asleep to see it... --George Carlin
It is reported on the authority of Jaabir ibn `Abdillaah, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said, "Verily, I saw the night of Al-Qadr and then I was made to forget it, but it is (to be looked for) in the last ten nights, the night is clear and fine, neither hot nor cold as if there were a full moon and on this night, the devils do not go forth until the light of dawn." (Narrated by Ibn Abi Haatim) Scholars have differed as to whether the night of Al-Qadr was extant for the communities which preceded that of Muhammad sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam or whether it was specially designated for them. There are two schools of thought on this subject: Abu Mus'ab Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr az-Zuhri (d.42H) said that Maalik informed him that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam was shown the generations of old from mankind and it was as if the lifespans of his community were shorter, and so it was not possible to accomplish the same amount of deeds as those communities of old, who lived longer lives and so Allah gave him the night of Al-Qadr which is better than a thousand months. According to Maalik, this necessarily means that this community (of Muslims) has been specially favoured with the night of Al-Qadr. One of the Shaafi'i scholars said that it is the view of the majority of scholars of fiqh, and Allah knows best. The second view on this subject says that the night of Al-Qadr was given to the previous peoples as it was given to this community and the proof of this is the hadeeth which says that. (Ibn Katheer has not mentioned the hadeeth, however).
It was not sure that Laylatul Qadr falls on 27th night. Some guess it by counting the words of Suuratul Qadr. But this is not authentic, only guess. But one hadith tells us that Laylatul Qadr falls on the last ten days of Ramadan.
I only copy pasted that Hadith from Islaam.com
Other hadith is same as yours. Their is additional "Kareemun" in the duaa.
Yeah the real ones actually know the hadiths and the Quran. Which in turn means they know the right way to act.
do not represent the moderate tone and example set by the Prophet Muhammad (saw). They can give the Righteous early Muslims a bad name by association so we must separate their actions which are often for political gains from the actions of a rightly guided Muslim.
And only Allah knows the truth of what is in someone's heart, eco. To place yourself on His level is shirk.

Such an arrogant attitude, I have often thought that the salafi's are exactly like the extreme zionists - both consider themselves the chosen people and highest form of knowledge and truth on the planet, it's amazing to see a mind eating itself leaving an automating mockery of itself.

You are still not understanding me, it is the language that you use - it's ugly - It makes you come across as ugly inside. doesn't mean that others can't also share information that they think is guidance. We should all be careful about doing so, because we could make mistakes and misguide others. Jahil never learns Islam, Jahil takes islam from parents
Jahil takes islam from wrong websites
For urdu speaking there are several islamic Programmes on QBS Radio where they promote pure deen but jahils are busy
dedicating satanic songs instead of learning islam
And they have their own dedicated deviant channel GEO TV which spreads filth
Just a question,
Is samia referring to very weak hadiths that she regards as innovations, thus 'satanic' in origin and nature...or.... is she suggesting that ALL hadiths are satanic innovations?
I understand the former and it may be that her explanation was not very clear
"Deaths in the Bible. God - 2,270,365

"Although the Night of Power falls on the 27th night of Ramadan, the followers of satanic innovations are never sure about it. They have their own books to follow beside the Quran a.k.a. hadiths (sayings attributed to the prophet)>"
We have read carefully!!wat does that mean??U say that followers of hadith are followers of satanic innovation.Go study the Deen-the religion-Islam.You dont know the role and the importance of hadith in Islam.I guess you dont know what is hadith.YOU READ WHAT YOU WROTE!
plz before you open fire on me read carefuly what i wrote
Your intentions might be good, but lack of knowledge shows right through ur comments about Hadith. As everyother person here corrcted U, it can fall on either odd nights and yes it changes...most ppl who have witnessed this night, happens to be the 23rd and the 27th, but its not to say that ppl have not witnessed on other odd nights.
No matter how practicing you are, if you are not qualified, be very careful about what you say, if rigth u can earn ajer other wise u get the opposite.
As far as what u sid about ppl who follow Hadith, do you realize the connection between Quran and haidth, they are both delivered to us by our beloved messenger, you can't pick and choose.

It MAY fall on 27th night, but it is not sure. There is no proof in Islam that lailatul qadr is on 27th night. But there is proof that it falls on the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. So what we can say is that it may be on 21st or 23rd or 25th or 27th or 29th night of ramadan.Ofcourse we should search for lailatul qadr in 27th night also. But we CAN'T say that it is for sure on 27th night. If it is sure that it is on 27th night then there should be a proof-either a verse in the Qur'an or a hadith. And there is no verse in the Qur'an nor a hadith that says lailatul qadr is for sure on 27th night.
Laylat Al Qadr, occurs on the night of one of the odd days during the last ten days of Ramadan. It is widely believed to fall on the 27th day of Ramadan. This night is commemorated as the night Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation of the Quran. The Quran calls this night "better than a thousand months.

When Allah says to obey His Messenger, then the followers of hadith are not satanic followers.Hadith,by the way,are Prophet Muhammad's(PBUH)words, actions and approvals.
Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "Search for the Night of qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan." (Sahih Bukhari:Book #32, Hadith #234)
The above-mentioned hadith is an authentic hadith in Sahih Bukhari.
