Leaving Qatar
Hi Guys,
I am working in Qatar at the moment and have been offered by a British consulting company in Abu Dhabi. The package and the position are good and accetable from my end.
Now the question is, I have a personnel loan and credit card balances with HSBC. Is there a way I can transfer the loan accounts to Abu Dhabi? I can produce the offer letter and a letter from my new employer stating that my salary will go into my new HSBC account in Abu Dhabi and can be deducted on monthly basis. Do you think this will work?? Please advise.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Hope you will be Oke. but just ask your Banker to solved your idea. but in my pratices in QP's company , it's immposible, without cleareance letter from the bank to resign and leave country.
Anyway goodluck for your new hope..
I am working for a civil engineering consulting company and not for any governmental/QP affiliated organisation. DO you still think it wil be a problem? Thanks.
If you are working in Qatar Industries (QP & affiliated) you cann't leave country without clear your all debts & Loan in Bank, the company will not give you Cleareance & release Letter for your new company and most immportant not will gie you exit permit, until you have Clearence letter from the bank for your bank.goodluck
Wish you best of Luck
