LEGAL ADVISE PLEASE

Good Day to all who will read this. I need a Legal Advise regarding this problem. I have a friend here in Doha her sponsor a saloon company cancelled her working visa last January 2009 for unknown reason. But this friend of mine was still here up to this date without the renewed working visa. My questions are: what is the best way to do so that she can go back to our home Country? What are the legal steps or procedures she must do in order for her to be deported? If there is a fine for overstaying, How much would it cost if she will pay? from January 2009 up to this date? and also, is she will be jailed for that case?

I'm looking forward to hear any suggestions, advise, thanks and Godbless....

The maximum fine one can incur is QR 12,000, regardless of the daily rate.

She needs to turn herself into CID, pay the fine and will probably spend 2 months in jail. She will also have to pay for her own deportation ticket or she could have a long stay in the deportation center.

Once the RP has been cancelled after 7 days. the company should pay for penaltieds only QAR10/day. These payment should be paid by the PRO of the company together with renewal of the exit permit. In my opinion there is a possibility that your friend will put in jail because he is illegal her already and her company is also liable for that. In my opinion the best thing to do is you just go to CID and inform the sitution of your friend.

And why exactly did she stay from Jan till now and suddenly decided to go back home? Some people just like to hit the axe on the own legs.

The penalities are 200QR per day, per person. Yes she will have to pay before she can leave. If she cant pay, they might jail her. Not sure on that. Maybe you should just ask at a police station??

Whatever you vividly imagine, Ardently desire, Sincerely believe and Enthusiastically act upon, Must inevitably come to pass.
