Lessons on Life

(u might have read it before, but its worth reading again)

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that NEVER JUDGE A TREE by only one season.

Same way he told them that NEVER JUDGE a PERSON in a SINGLE MEETING.

The ESSENCE , the PLEASURE, the JOY, and the LOVE that come from a LIFE through meeting can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring

Moral:

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches
and better times are sure to come some time or later.

TFS..yes I do abide by the policy that ultimately judgement belongs to Allah. However I do try to suss out a persons personality, likes & dislikes in my first few dealings with them simply to avoid doing & saying anything that may cause another to become uncomfortable or offended. This I feel is important to avoid conflicts though of course its not fool proof!

Arrogant attitude will never let you learn.some people are boastfull of themselves end up like idiots without realization. They are critical about others and can't take critics about themselves.Million times hint them about, hey you're not perfect, its hard to go into their hard head because its me & Iam the only educated fool.

Soniya may Almighty bring all joys and wellness, but my advice, never share things that are not good for at the moment, if you keep it yourself & pray they just go by wink of your eye.May Allah bless your family. Ameen.

You can't judge me even after a million meetings but yes First impressions are very important for job interviews so need to make sure they catch a good side of me that day.

Yes agree it can be a painful process but when you have your family and loved ones supported you, obstacles can be overcome.

Healing is a slow, but steady process, Soniya. Give it time.

Cheer up, Soniya! Life’s is like that. It is a two way process, there is sorrow and happiness… forget sadness and don’t let it overwhelm your entire life… Be happy!!

I think it was John Keats who once said "Trumpet of a prophecy o' wind - If winter comes can spring be far behind."

Wise words.

"Same way he told them that NEVER JUDGE a PERSON in a SINGLE MEETING. "

Unfortunately, First impression Last, and if, such as an interview it is your one and only chance to impress, you need to be sure you do just that!

Better would be when we stop judging any thing at all. Being judgemental about anything at any point is wrong.
