Lets be patient

To all my QL friends,

Lets not make personal remarks, or call names, its not at all dignified. This is a site where educated people are expressing opinions, you can all disagree with one another, but lets not resort to vile language. No curses in anyones native language please.

lets all not comment on each others english skills either, most of us are not native english speakers, so  lets pls leave it at that, and try to be patient with one another.

I dont know why all of us get so worked up by individual postings, at times it seems as if we are just waiting to pounce on someone who decides to act funny. Are we using this platform to vent out our frustrations?

If one of us starts with a curse, then get ready to hear it back, and this is just not necessary, so lets pls respect one another.

Lets all be calm.

take care

It is easy to get a bit heated when discussing something that you feel strongly about but resorting to profanity is a sign that your vocabulary is lacking or you cannot find a suitable retort to back up your stance.

As for writing in English. I am Scottish and my English leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion hats off to anyone that can speak / write in a second language - if only the brits were as good at alternative languages as other nations!

Couldn't be better said, han19. We all have good days and bad days, and this is not the place to spill out the frustration.

Well said Han. You are completely correct and I hope you don't mind my saying that your English is excellent both in grammar and syntax.
