Wow!!! How about that. Yes that was my husband. What a small world. I am a teacher in Florida. I am a workaholic but I decided not to work when I come to Doha. I need a break. I want to go for coffee/tea and work out.

He is going to be in trouble becasue he went to BK. He is suppose to be eating healthy. My kids speak spanish but my daughter does not like to speak too much spanish. My son loves languages like my husband. He went to the Intercontinental tonight with all the other guys that he works with. I talked to him at 6pm via skype. He finally found a condo in West Bay to live but they do not allow dogs so he will have to move when we get there. Happy New Year. It is only a couple of minutes away....

We don't do that in Spain. But we do go around the block and wish everyone Happy New Year

Southflorida! You know, Doha is a really small place! THink I met your husband! I was in Burger kind and he wanted some directions, and my husband told him how to get to the stadium. He told me his wife was a teacher and was planing, maybe, to teach in Qatar. He told me he was an engineering working in Lusail. And He also told me that his teenager daughter does not speak spanish (very bad!)

THat was around a month ago, and he had just landed in DOha. How is he getting on?

Oh, we wear red underwear in Spain. So here I am, sitting with red pants and a bowl full of grapes

My husband is Colombian and they do that in Colombia. All of South Americans does that.

Eating the grapes and making a wish for each grape is a spanish tradition. Plus I forgot to tell you, you need to wear yellow underwear and have your luggage packed and walk around your block. Then in 2008 you will have good luck and travel alot...

I thought we only did that in Spain? So everyone eats grapes in New Year Eve? One for each bell?

I think the normal Dance parade ticket is just for entry, the VIP will provide you a table, chair and some food. For sure booz is not included. Even it seems buffet dinner is not included

I feel excited but cant do anything as I am stuck here in the office.. I dont have suitable clothes to wear, no fruits and sweets yet in the table, i don't know if i have enough time to prapare before 12mn.
