I was working in Saudi Chevron phase 1, Al-Jubail is nice city and your package is excellent in saudi since you are small family. but i would recommend to negotiate the schooling as your daughter will be soon in the school.

Wish you good luck

KSA definitely is far from qatar, everything there is much cheaper which makes it easier to save up money. 4k housing allowance per month is already huge for jubail,u could get urself a villa or a house in a private compound with that kind of allowance and u usually pay rent there annually as said earlier. as for the social life, oh well...if you're friendly and outgoing enough it wont be problem...but there are no bars or anything of that sort. the only thing you could do there is go malling and eat out...and you have to drive to al-khobar for that which would take u an hour. im not saying that they dont have anything in jubail but its really more like a province...to be really honest, life in jubail is dull thats why people go to al-khobar whenever they can.

Jubail in the Eastern Province is one of the Industrial Cities in KSA. You will find lots of expats and you will be able to adjust in no time. Housing and cost of basic commodities is much cheaper. Your package is also good and most of all is that you will be working for Saudi Chevron. Reminder that lately there have been minor crimes ie phone snatching, fake police officers, carnapping incidents. Hope this helps
