well i didnt exactly understand ur comment

and why do people always tend to put the third option on list

in that case we can go on and on abt more options

but when it is an yes or no question the answer is one of the two

is there God - yes or no?

simplw why confuse it with something no related to the ques?

salvation based on faith - is a christian concept

although jesus (peace be on him) always stressed that:

"For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, (here he is referring to the jew priests) you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven"

so it is indeed only good deeds that can help a person in attaining salvation!!!

and so is it in islam as well

of course Allah knows who has true faith in his heart and who r the ones who do it simply for being on the safe side!!!
