WEP is very easy to hack...

Assuming the router is still under factory settings the username/password combination will be one of two things;

On older routers;

USERNAME:

PASSWORD: admin

On newer routers;

USERNAME: admin

PASSWORD: admin

If you previously changed the username/password and have now forgotten them (or someone else changed them because you hadn't enable security encryption) you'll need to reset the router first by holding down the reset button for 30 seconds. Then use the values above.

Once you are into the configuration screen you can change this username and password.

Just changing the username and password wont stop people hijacking your wireless. To prevent this you need to enable WEP or WPA encryption, which requires you to set a passkey.

put user name as admin and leave the password blank, for wireless connection you can encrypt your wireless connection using a Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) key. Under the "Wireless Security" option, enter a passphrase and click "Generate." This will generate a password which will need to be used by any client connecting to your router; to change your admin password go to the administration tab..enter a user name and password on the space provided under administration tab..hope this help

go to internet explorer or any browser and go to this website:

http://192.168.1.1/

it may ask you for username password...if u hve one enter it otherwise if its default: 

username: [none]

password: admin

u shud be able to enter configurations and now here you can change all the stuff...
