Live Extra 14 years ....

Gulf residents could live for an extra 14 years if they make four simple changes to their lifestyles, groundbreaking research has discovered.

The 10-year study by the University of Cambridge and the Medical Research Council in the UK has found exercising regularly, drinking moderately, eating sufficient fruit and vegetables and not smoking can add as much as 14 years to a person's life, British broadcaster the BBC reported on Tuesday.

Research involving 20,000 people in the county of Norfolk between 1993 and 2006 revealed that those who failed on all of the criteria were four times more likely to have died during that time than those who succeeded - and the findings held true regardless of how overweight or poor they were.

Dont need that kind of 14 extra years...........

Being a couch potato, having a bear and smoking at the same time is a lot of fun.

This story was on the BBC site as well, it's all very good but what's the point in living another 14 years if you've spent 70 years worrying about how much you are eating/drinking/smoking/exercising a not enjoying life.
