Living arrangements ANY IDEAS
Heya,
Was wondering whether anyone could tell me what kind of living arrangements are allowed within Qatari law as I've heard that a woman is not permitted to share accommodation with anyone other than her brother, father or husband.
In addition to this I've heard that men can not live together in the same villa due to Qatar's Islamic laws. This proves to be a major problem for a company seeking to accommodate many employees during the Asian games.
Please note: These employees would be placed in a household purely for business reasons and none other.
Any ideas, anyone ? HUMPH!
Look forward to hearing from someone/ anyone who has any ideas on the topic.
Thanks,
Angelique
A 2 bed is around 5-7000qr a month a big mac meal is 18qr
Thanks for that info, I was just wondering how it would be, I'm considering taking on a nice modern 2 bedroom apartment (unfurnished) and possibly sharing the apartment with another person. Does any body know how much the following would be?.....
- A 2bed modern unfurnished apartment in a good location;
- A Big Mac on it's own (I don't the crap but it's indicative of cost comparison to here in Australia);
Cheers,
R.
We already have three ladies and two men living together for work on the Asian Games so no problem just put everything uder the company name they do not ask many other questions and find your accommodation soon coz its getting low on the short term side i am still struggling for more that i need for two months
People of the same sex can live together no problem. I'm sure if the police found out they were living together as partners there would be a problem, but thats pretty hard to prove, so same sexes living together is fine, or else my company would be in a jam too.
Men and Women living together outside of husband, son, father, brother, is not allowed, yet is usually turned a blind eye to. You don't tell, you don't make it obvious, there are no problems.
