Hi All,

My name is ahmed and I am from Pakistan. I have recently arrived in qatar to work in an american firm. I am software engineer and 34 years old married and have 4 kids but my family will arrive after couple of months.

As I am new I don't know many sites here in qatar and also I get very boar after coming back from job in the evenings.

Is there anybody who is passing through the same situation? Anybody who wants and give some company for gup shup?

thanks

Hi,

Thank you for such a nice discussion. I appreciate and regard your opinion. I know that you may find good and bad people every where but as far as you yourself is good and mature, you may very quickly judge a personality. It is not necessary that you meet people who have the same caliber and mentality as you have but one must try.

The point of all this is to spend some nice time in the evenings with community and friends that could make you happy. This is my 8th year as an expat worker and I have been to few other countries as well and luckily I always had nice friends who are still in touch.

Hope to have a nice company soon!

This is pretty much the worst place to look for friends. most people out here hang out with you based on your nationality. (comment deleted by mod)

Go to Dubai people tend to be much nicer out there. Its just not worth the effort to try and make friends here.
