I am not in Doha but think maybe you can buy this equipment in the Virgin store in Villagio. I saw some technics 1210 turntables in there.
They speed up and slow down so you can match records speeds and then mix them together.
perhaps Virgin also sell cd decks. I know that Pioneer do some good ones at various prices. sorry I am not that familiar with electronics shops in Doha.
the mixer is also important and that is where you will mix the sounds from the different sources.
it will have the 2 decks plugged into it then a cable will take the mixed sounds out to your stereo system (amplifier and speakers)
Also you will need headphones to monitor the mix and slipmats if you choose to mix vinyl. though probably in Doha cds would be more easily available.

1. you should buy some music.
2. which kind of music you will music together: CD's or MP3's or Vinyl
3. buy two cd/vinyl "decks" and a mixer or maybe some mixing software for MP3s
4. practice...I could give you a few pointers
