Love at first sight?

Aria met Ian on the 17th of April, 2014. The night she was supposed to fly to Mumbai to meet Adrian. And then just 2 days before she had a huge fight with Adrian and she cancelled the trip.

It was at the Pearl, Marriot that she first saw Ian. She was with her best friend Veronica and he was alone. She was next to him in the queue. What struck her first was his height.

Though she was wearing 4 inches heels,he still seemed to be taller than her. And yes he was attractive. Veronica and she started giggling like teenagers, doing thier usual girly stuff.

They entered the club before him since they already were members. They went and sat at the bar waiting for him to enter. And as time passed, Aria became more and more anxious because he was nowhere to be seen.

They thought maybe he was waiting for his girlfriend outside. It was more than half-an-hour and still he was not to be seen. They decided to sneak peek at the entrance. They did, but couldn't find him. They had lost him.

They came back to thier stools but they were taken already, so they went to the far corner bar. And there he was, sitting all by himself drinking beer. To Aria, he looked lonely, somewhat like Devdas.

Veronica decided to go over and talk to him for Aria. But Aria decided against it. They took thier drinks and sat somewhere else. And this guy looked thier way!

They obviously got pretty excited. Veronica and Aria settled themselves and when they got drunk enough, Veronica decided on approaching him. And she did.

She went to him and said that my friend would like to meet you. And he came over. Aria and Ian spoke nicely and it seemed that they hit it off very well.

They spent the next hour talking about themselves, taking pictures etc etc. Then he asked for her number and she gave him.

It was for the first time in her life that she spoke to someone she met at a club and even exchanged her number. Later he dropped off Veronica and her and she knew there was something special about him or so she thought.

When he bid adieu to her, he removed a ring from his finger, gave it to her and said that he loved spending time with her. She was taken aback but she couldn't deny the fact that she was falling for him too.
