Low-cut dentist dresses distract patients

Dentists everwhere .. Please take note ..

A German dentist has bought low-cut dresses for herself and her nurses to distract patients as she works on their teeth.

Dr Marie Catherine Klarkowski, whose practice is in Munich, came up with the idea after watching the way male visitors to the local Oktoberfest enjoyed looking at the traditional low-cut Dirndl dresses.

So she ordered for herself and her 10 staff similar frilled blouses in the same style with low cut cleavages and tight bodices that work like a push-up bra.

Dr Klarkowski, 41, said: "The most important thing for us is to take away the patients' fear. The sight of cleavages gets patients narcotised and distracted from the pain rather quickly."

For Dr Klarkowski the investment paid off - she has a third more patients since the change - all of them male.

One of Dr Klarkowski's employees, Larisa Hrustic, said: "I much prefer working in a dirndl, I enjoy looking good at work and it's a lot more fun since we had the new outfits."

Ok. Thanks for replying. I don't like dentists so I was imagining this massive dental tool that needed two hands to control it.

some 10 years back in india, i had to go to a dentist to take out an impact tooth which had started hurting..

i still remember the big lady had my head rest on her bust while she struggled to force out the raw impact tooth using both her hands on the instrument.

my wife looked on feeling uneasy..but couldnt say a word.

Guys

I have a real life experience, in my home country. A lady dentist was very dedicated to work, she will almost sit on your laps and lean maximum to reach up to cavity.

Means no words to explain.............

I am as real as God!

I think it is very ethical and professional of her to be so considerate towards her patients and thinking of their wellbeing before herself.

I hope the male dentists wear lederhosen.

The guy at the front is not doing anything for me at all. The three at the back... hmmmmm.... na... not sure about them, and in the middle row the one furthest left catches my eye, but she looks really intelligent so I don't think I would be in with a chance there... however the one in the middle (third from left, or third from right which ever way you look at it)... let me get my score cards ready.... shuffle, shuffle, shuffle..... oh yes she gets a 10 and a 10 ;)

It's not about nationality, it's about the PROFESSION and it's code of ethics. Universally, these professionals are being taught at school about their code of ethics which took them half a semester or maybe a full sem for this course. Such act is degrading and indecent. I'm sure if the PNA or ANA would learn about this, they would make a big fuss out of it. I rest my case.

:)

but then again, it really depends on one's moral level (or what is acceptable to tem in general). Again, emphasize on the nationality involved in this story. And the place. If this thing will be implemented here, well maybe a different treatment by the posters.

A little exposure will not do them any harm (at least on the dentist's view), so the rule NO HARM, NO FOUL applies. Lol! Of course unless an employee of her (the nurses or assistants) starts to complain.

And unless MRS DArude complains (why DArude ferquent such clinic), then trouble really begins! Lol!

I understand this may just all be teasers or what not, still the idea of it disgusts me. It is so degrading for us woman to be put in this situation and for what, just to distract patients while they're being treated? There are numerous list of distraction you know, and it doesn't need to be on others' moral expense.

uniform, all the comments above are just a teasers although if one tries to imagine it "wildly" maybe, just maybe you have a glimpse of righteousness in your opinion.

But if you also look at Provision 2, "interest of the patients", the dentist ultimate aim was for the welfare of the patients. And her "marketing" move paid off to her as well! Lol!

It doesn't need to be a topnotcher at a board exams to cure/care for a patient. Just as you said (and i agree) that it doesn't need a particular clothing to care/cure for a patient. The point is improper attire for professionals like doctors and nurses are unethical.

I hope the link below would let you better understand why i'm against such actions, particularly under provision 5:
