Magrabi Hospital CHARBEL MHANNA experience
What an experience of dental world. Hearing lot of stories of bad experiences of QLers with dentists. I tried to google and other searches to find sound and safe dentist. I decided for Magrabi Hospital (D Ring Road). I was with dentist for two minutes and the argument started and doctor started fighting with me, i had to leave room. This is what happened. When i entered he asked me to take xray... fine by then, he saw the xray and said "the tooth needs root canal", i said "i need to talk to you about my pain", he said "hhhmm ok" and asked me to lie down, above there was computer screen he entered some thing there (my insurance details etc) and asked me to open my mouth, and started operating. With my one hand raised i signalled him to wait, i asked politely "what are you doing" he said, "root canal", i said "i told you i need to discuss with you", he said "WHAT YOU WANT TO DISCUSS?" in very rude manner. (Actually i wanted to know what actually happened to my tooth, i also needed to decide whether to do root canal that very day or not, etc. things about insurance limitations) He got angry, He said, "i told you, you need root canal", i answered, now not politely, "Did i say yes?", did you hear me our? then he said, "you want to do it or not?". I was feeling like i am standing in vegetable wholesale market, dealing with very rude vegetable seller. I said from you "never" and left the room. I complained to supervisor, present in reception, the supervisor was polite and she understood my situation and went to doctors room, but went back and told me doctor is saying "he already told me, i need root canal" ooops i said, not again.... I am sorry to mention, but things like this leads us to think some dentist see the nationality and decide whether the patient deserves to speak or not... Be aware of this doctor, i cant comment on Magrabi hospital as whole, as it was my first and last visit but beware of doctor CHARBEL MHANNA. May be he is good with other "kind" of people, but we need to find out that first, isnt it. Thanks for reading and understanding.

what you said is partly correct. Majority of those clinics and hospitals running on insurance drives or covers will go directly towards the problem without explaining what happens or whats wrong...for my own satisfaction, I now rely on dentists not on insurance list, and taking the time to explain the process prior treatment.
That's terrible. Dentists and Dental hospitals are really expensive (and rude) here. Its all about making money, they don't care and don't want to listen your problems . lol.
I don't know complaining to HMC would help you in this matter. these kind of doctors should be reported and obviously punished.
