Shanti Nagar has many sectors, some as far as a kilometer away from the station. Shanti Nagar is quite old. Try to stay as far away from Naya Nagar as possible.

Since Shanti Nagar as a whole is towards the Dhaisar end I think it would be a good place to buy, although the place is old (10yrs+) so wonder if you would get bank loan on that.

Dont forget to check the water availability. Some bldgs there get water through tankers.

Plus if you have to travel in peak hours you will have to travel to Virar / Bhayandar/ Vasai and back.

Mira Road... Its a criminal's paradise, commuter's nightmare, land mafia's playing field... What else do u want to know about it? Buying property there? May God Bless you.

Mira road is upcoming residential place, and cheaper and spacious accomodation is available there.

Traveling from Mira road to Church gate during peak hours is really a tough task.

Mira road is also notorious for illegal activities.

(I think this is sufficient for 4 out of 5 marks)

regards

Paul

All i know is :

Comparatively cheaper residential accomodation and cost of living.

Secondly and most importantly, Mira Road is not in Mumbai (Bombay) but is in Thane.
