Misuse of Hazard Lights

landloverreview
By landloverreview

What to do with the people waiting in narrow roads and round abouts by putting their hazard lights on?

It blocks many others and sometime wn they stop in small round abouts it hinders the blind spot view.

Leatherface, you made me spill my tea. I was thinking of the road with all cars with hazard lights on. What a bootiful scene.

@Nimbupani....Absolutely true. Many many have little idea when to give indicators for taking an exit. They either give it quite early and keep going to the next exit, or they would give at the last second.

The big culprit here is their ability to master driving skills.

Just watch the police cars and ambulances drive through the roads. What makes you think anyone can drive like that? No way! They are trained for "tactical driving" skills.

All the cars in Qatar are hazards to others in some way or the other. Lets drive with hazard lights turned on all the time!

i remember one of my good friend just on the hazard lights in the middle of the road and started picking his nose, the shorty pocked his stick in one of his eye and he became blind with one eye...:(

It is absolutely correct: a standing object in traffic must switch on the hazard! If it is correct to stop in the middle of the road is another question.

so which traffic is better india or qatar

By NimbuPani• 8 Nov 2012 13:50
NimbuPani

In India those footpaths are utilised by Public GarbageBins. No doubt of big traffic jams when ppl start walking on the road.

Now dont remind me Indialiving.com :)

By Victory_278692• 8 Nov 2012 13:45

There are always footpath or rough roads at the side of narrow lanes.

Baburao: dont compare rules here with Indian rules as we dont have roundabts and there but only circles. right ?

By Rizks• 8 Nov 2012 13:39

'other side' ? Vicy donor, wat if the way is narrow..then there is no other side but to fly...lols

By Victory_278692• 8 Nov 2012 13:38

Just wait and keep patience; for a minute, if it didn't move than honk loudly and overtake from other side.

Baburao-Ganpatrao-Apte

yes i noticed that here and in india too but ppl still drive dont they

By NimbuPani• 8 Nov 2012 13:35

ppl also do not turn on the indicator while on the roundabts which leads to confuion for ppl to join the roundabts on correct time. Did anyone notice tat ?

Read carefully. Discussed earlier were the topics of 'using hazards in fog/rains'.

I am culprit too. Now trying to not to repeat after being extremey annoyed by the same act.

It is insane and very risky.
