Dear Well wishers,

Hope this update reaches you in good health. We are here again updating our latest news from 17th to 24th of April 07 on the state of affairs at the Mitery Kunja Safe House.

On 19th of April, Madam Clotilde along with her group visited the safe house with a basket ball and net. They brought some cakes for the Kunja residents.

On 23rd of April, the Kunja was visited by our active donor Madam Nanci along with her two friends, who are very interested to know the abandoned people and want to help them. In the same occasion Madam Nancy hand over the raised fund of total 5,000Qrs. that was collected from the table top sale at busy bee. With this amount rice, lentils, cooking oil, chicken and vegetable were bought for the residents of Kunja.

On 24th April, in the management of the Spanish speaking ladies club organised a fund raising food festival in aid of providing support for the Mitery Kunja, at Al Jazi Compound. Nepali volunteers along with the Founder of the shelter Mitery Kunja, participated with Nepali Handicrafts. There Nepali volunteers lend a hand in selling drinks and raffle tickets.
Columbia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Ecuador, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina and France exhibited their delicious cuisines. In the occasion, Mr Gokul Kunwar announced that from the month of May, the Mitery club will organise four programmes every month on Fridays, including celebration of birthdays, health and safety awareness programs, Regular Health checkups and vocational trainings.

Special Notification:

As we have mentioned previously, in our last up dates regarding the case of Vietnamese Guy named Ngyuen Van Dung, 23, Miss Phung – Y’ Ngyuen, a Vietnamese National herself, a journalist by profession, has promised to try her level best in settling the case as soon as possible and is determined to help him get back home.

On 4th of May, a great event “Mitery Charity Sale” is going to be held at the Safe House Compound at Madina Murrah from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We are attaching a flyer of Charity Sale Program of 4th May. Please check it and take it as an Invitation.
