Mom or Dad

Everyone becomes close to one of the parent over the time, usually people say dady's girl and mama's boy lol. I believe it is true, boys usually are close to their moms and girls to their dads, dont really understand why, but I've seen it so i know. In my case I was close to my grand father, but when he passed away, it felt like I've lost everything. I miss him alot :(... well thats about me, so what about u guys? which one of your parent r u close to? share some of the best moments you had with ur parents in your childhood or whenever.

love both my parents although i can relate to my mum more....It doesnt matter to me how close i am to one or the other, what matters is i try and spend as much time with them as i can, as once they are gone you can never get the chance to be with them anymore and thats a scary thought for me...

hmm lets see i was a very diplomatic brat...i'd be close to mom when dad used to come chasing me with a stick...and then i'd be close to dad when i ran out of pocket money and sometimes when i wanted to bring about a revoloution i'd be close with my elder sista...but hey i'm always my mama's boy :) *blushes*

Although I am close to my Mum, I was always his little girl, he took me everywhere with him and was always there for me if I needed to talk.He even taught me how to drive ( he had lots of patience) and change tyres and oil. We even used to go out for drinks especially on Saturday lunch time.

Dad even used to change both my childrens nappies and feed them.

Sadly he passed away a few years ago but there is not a day goes by that I don't think of my Dad, he was my best friend.

close to both Mum and Dad - mummy to talk about everything in life and dad to talk about everything on a higher level.

When i was a kid , I was tutored at home by my mother and she does so with my children.

My father taught me when I was in the higher classes.

But what I was really taught by my father was about life, not in actual classes but by observation : i learnt how to speak out my mind, honesty, acting according to one's conscience, faith etc..

From my mother , i learnt to be a good mother to my children , i hope ,

Honestly I can't choose.

my dad...there were only two girls in my family, and my sister was the foofy one...Dad and I used to go fishing and playing in the creeks and getting all muddy...plus he taught me how to work on cars, change tires, pack U joints and rotate tires...so I was his tomboy daughter. He also loved to travel as much as I do...We could talk about any and everything...I miss him so much....

My mama brought me up... and dad was never in the house. Mom and I got so used to each other now, that sadly we don't like each other any more.
