there r exeptions.

but no i do mean the rich middle class.

donno about the miskeen qataris. or the relation of katari to meskeen expatriates.

the question what THING u found most beautiful, and I found the qatari people. u may agree or totally disagree.

for me, souk wakif is unbearable for 8 months even with outside ACs. in fact all the places are. life is very nice in the winter.

drsam...you might be talking about the meagre educated class.....if yes..then you are right.

I know they are the best in behaving well when it comes to all the Arabs.....but surely not the best in the world. Normally they are good till the time you behave like a "Miskeen".

PS: I like the PEACE in Doha.

even Dubai or Abu Dhabi don't have this authentic kind of souk where people canhave the real feeling of a traditional Arabic souk.

i know most of u won't understand!

but the mentality of the qataris surprised me. i thought i was going to see arrogant, snob, xenophobic people when i came. much to my astonishement, it was the opposite. yes doha looks like a town rather than a city, has nothing much of entertainement, or any outdoor possibile activity, yet since day 0, i felt nice dealing with all its people.
