my job title is ok nw.....thank u all for helping me vth ur valuable suggestions....
You got to check first your entry Visa copy what is the profession shown there. Because Immigration would not entertain individuals. Best thing to start the process thru your PRO Dept. by submitting your current employment profession etc. with job contract copy as proof. They will redirect you to Labour Dept. I bet.
A friend of mine is facing the same problem, in his ID the name of his company is replaced by the department he is working for in that company. He is in fact facing some embarrassing situations..!!
I guess you will have to take it to the Immigration department in order to get it altered.

actually i am a specialist in physical therapy working vth national olympic comitte of qatar....but in my rp and id they wrote as massage worker....there is big difference between these two jobs....may b i have to go to the labour department also...cos somebdy told me tht its not only the mistake of immigration......
any way i ll go and chek vth immigration again....
As qatexpat rightly pointed out, the job title registered with Immigration Dept. reflects in your RP as well as ID Card and hardly there could be any difference.
I guess this all happens the type of Visa available with your employer or rather offered to you at the time of your arrival to Qatar for employment purposes. If you wish to seek any change of profession in the ID Card, then process should start with your employer issuing a letter to Labour Dept. confirming your present profession / designation submitting copies of your entry visa, agreement, RP and ID proof.
Hopefully you can expect the desired changes
Well, if your job title in your RP is manager or supervisor or at least the same level with your current job title, then there is nothing to worry about. But if it is written as laborer or janitor...then even if it requires a lot of paper work then I suggest you go for a correction.

The job title is another story altogether. The RP and ID show your actual job title as registered in the immigration department. It will require quite a bit of paper work to change that. Many people face this situation.
my husband and my son once had their name wrong in the RP, and they have to send it back to the immigration. They cancel the old RP and re print a new one. I guess you will have to do the same.
