Danny Samaha, aka Dj Dansz, was born in Beirut on the 6th of April 1974. Growing up listening to the music constantly playing at home, Disco, he was immediately captured by its energy and up-tempo beats. The music became more interesting for him when electronic elements were gradually introduced in the early 80s, with bands such as Depeche Mode, Adam Ant, Giorgio Moroder, Eurythmics, New Order, Kraftwerk, Blondie, Human League, OMD and others.

Dansz's passion for music had no limits; he knew there was something more than listening to it at home or in the car. At a friend's birthday party in 1988, the DJ was doing something Dansz had never heard before, continuously shifting from one song to another without any interruption or fading in and out. He was mixing! Dansz stood next to the DJ booth all night staring at this magician with amazement and thinking, "That's what I want to do". And there he was one year later, being the magician himself, playing at his first birthday party using 2 tape decks and a mixer, experiencing the best journey ever, a journey into sound.

His passion and commitment allowed him to acquire his first radio show, as well as his first club residency, in 1990. As his experience and DJ’ing career lifted off, he got other local residencies, in addition to regional gigs in cities like Amman, Dubai and Muscat.

Following his return to Beirut in 2004, Dansz was unrelenting in his desire to introduce the Minimal and Electro sounds to the EDM scene, largely dominated by progressive and trance chammels; these efforts paid off with residencies in "Lila Braun", “Club Social”, and "The Basement”, the only proper Lebanese night-club dedicated to minimal house, electro and techno, and featuring both local and international DJ’s.

The future looks promising for Dansz, as he is persistently on the lookout for newer outlets to share his passion with EDM lovers.

Known as Montana, Robin Abou Sejaan of Lebanese Nationality went from living out in small parties and weddings then practicing in well-known night clubs for several years to finally taking part in private events like for example in La cite, black diamond, cyan, black and white, dance storming, etc.
At 16 years old, Montana had this sense of making from a simple music a very flaming one. Working on himself, Montana developed his own style of playing music and started little by little to reach a big and good audience especially in Keserwan area. He was incredible in creating this wonderful bond with the crowd via his tune which proved to be a touch of heartening and inspiring.
Montana excelled in many rhythms like tech trance, uplifting, progressive, house etc. in other terms the music that let the hips move and make the people say he is the best.

Since the age of 16, Twista had had a huge talent in music. With Practice, he became the resident DJ at Explosion (DT) at the age of 18. Later on, he became the resident DJ at Spot (Monot), and Black Diamond (Monot). Twista is known for his uplifting type of music. He then found himself flying to the most important nightclub in Jordan (Gugis). Not to mention his several beach parties at Cyprus. Now, Twista is working his way to the top as Black Diamond resident DJ :)

Don't tell her that she's the priestess of minimal techno, or that her example has paved the way for the wave of French female DJ's, you may well exasperate her. Jennifer Cardini is too natural and sincere to appreciate these compliments of caricature. She’s a musical aficionado for whom only one thing counts: playing the right track at the right time. And like all the greats she knows how to enhance the meaning of records with those which have the come before and those to follow.

She’s been imposing her tomboy style behind the European decks for over ten years now. Originally from the south of France, she witnessed the birth of techno in France. She lived the first raves intensely, at a time when with one photocopied flyer you could travel tens of kilometres to hear Jeff Mills or Laurent Garnier. She soon tried the decks out for herself one memorable night in Nice in 1994.

Detroit was the mecca of the era and Jennifer’s deep atmospheres and refined melodic textures distinguished her sound even then. Like all deejays she’s known the downside of unpaid gigs and nights spent ‘on some unknown train station’s bench’. But during those ecstatic and chaotic rave years she learnt how to take a reputable but undansable record and get everyone dancing... She met Miss Kittin and Sex Toy with whom she started producing and launched the Pussy Killers duo, with their brand of avant-garde electro-punk. This is the blueprint for the band of girls of the Pulp club, Fany, Chloe... who were to breathe new life into Parisian clubbing at the end of the 90’s.

By 1998, Jennifer Cardini was living in Paris and became resident deejay at the Automatik parties at the Rex club. She plays there monthly whilst honouring her other residencies at the Pulp (Lust, sucessor to the Underpressure parties of 2002/2004), the Nouveau Casino (Correspondant) and the Nitsa in Barcelona. It’s at around this time that she connects to the new German sound, being one of the first deejays to play this melancholy, sexy, stripped-down elegance over French dancefloor sounds marked by deep house and French-touch disco. With these ever-sensual mixes she supports the labels Sender, Kompakt, Klang or B. Pitch Control, when they were just starting out. To follow are Closer Music, Ellen Allien, Superpitcher and so many more new producers of the Cologne new-wave, Berlin and Frankfurt, without forgetting the techno of The Hacker, the new-wave of Siouxsie & the Banshees and Joy Division, Serge Gainsbourg’s pop and the late Elliott Smith.

Music has played a major role in who Hasan has become today. Setting off to a musical beginning by learning the piano at a young age, Hasan constantly knew music was going to be something that will always be around or at least he wanted it to be.

Setting off for University in the U.S in the year 2000, he developed a new found love for electronic music. This evolved as Hasan made frequent visits to Chicago, where he ignited his interest in its rich dance music culture. The legendary Crobar was by far one of the greatest influences on Hasan's view of music and DJing. Returning to Jordan in 2003, Hasan instantly entered the scene and scored big with a residency at Shaman, one of Amman’s more upscale night spots. He flooded Shamans Blue Room with everything from techno, tribal, and progressive house to his choice cuts of trance and break beat’s.

In 2004, Hasan moved on to be the resident dj at Amman’s leading underground dance club at the time. There he played alongside names such as Deep Dish, Behrouz, Danny Howells, Hisham Samawi, Sultan, David Tort, Gordon Edge, Barry Gilbey, Robert Owens, Ayah, Fady Ferraye, Andrew k, Eelke Kleijn, Pacha Ibiza residents Sarah Main and Andy B rejuvenating Amman with a regular dose of tech-house, progressive and electro. In 2006, Hasan decided to leave his residency to focus on his career and productions.

Since then, Hasan was booked to spin alongside names such as Desyn Masiello, Omid 16B, Demi, Max Graham, Yvel & Tristan, Pete Tong & the legendary John Digweed. Constantly spinning across the region at major clubs in Beirut & Amman, Hasan’s developed sound can be described as nothing other than techy, deep and groovy using sensual melodies, dirty basslines and epic musical journey’s.

Currently Hasan delivers a 3 hour electronic show called “The Juice” on one of Jordan’s top radio stations “Spin Jordan” as well as having guest spots on major online radio’s such as Frisky Radio. Recently he also teamed up with Greek artists Tim and Andi Vasilos releasing tracks on labels such as Spinifex Recordings & Bug Eyed records with more to come. Considered as one of the regions leading electronic artists, Hasan is keeping up with his music, churning out his own tech-edged material, and spreading his love for music.
