What nationalities hang out on this forum??

I'm Dutch!

(No I don't wear clogs, there are no tulips in my house and I'm not particularly fond of Amsterdam. Don't smoke pot either...)

Yeah I heard about cycling in Doha. A no go! No problem though, I don't think I'd enjoy cycling in 40 degrees plus anyway :)

Wait 5 more years and Amsterdam will have

- no coffee-shops

- no red light district

Thus, no image.

The Amsterdam government wishes to gain an image as Paris. So, we need to ask the Americans to produce us a giant heap of crappy metal and give it a name....

The Eiffel-Blower.

The others in that country....

No more, no less.

I ride my bike to work and back every day. 23km there and 23km back. I eat loads of cheese, love (Dutch) pancakes, enjoy a good "stamppot" ... so yeah... I think I qualify as Dutch :)

Maaruh... Hotboss, wat doe jij overdag dan wel? Ik ben trouwens nog niet in Qatar hoor. Pas in september :) Maar ik kan niet wachten, heb er echt zin in.

When in Doha...

Dutch are forced to 'ride' other 'objects' in Doha.

Bicycle in Doha = Skydiving without parachute.

Have you taken advantage of Canadian immigration???

Nederlander...

You did not expect that as a first reply..... :-P

En nee ik hang hier niet uit, het zit hier vol met klagende huisvrouwen die zich dag-in dag-uit doodvervelen en over elk klein wissewasje klagen, en na zessen komt manlief thuis.... en dan is hij de pineut :-P

Otherwise, QL is very helpful for getting started and gathering information.

Ypost you have just shattered my image of all you Dutch :)

I am Canadian, and dont say "eh" after every sentence and dont consider Don Cherry as one of the most influential men on the planet.
