Listen it is very much a needed, responsible and humane thing to do... unless you want to shelter and care for all the abandoned cats and dogs who have over populated the world.
People that truely love pets, will understand what I am talking about. This are God's creatures, who have feelings, and do show emotions and love. If you do not spay or neuter them, they most likely are on the streets living, short violent life's to survive attacks from other dogs or cats in the breeding moment, and starve!!! do you think thats ok? is that what God wanted for these cats and dogs? even if they dont attack humans, they dont deserve to be on the streets suffering. I rescued a cat who was always being attacked thanks to other cats dumped on the streets who were not spayed or neutured. He is a very cool, and loving cat now that he is neutured. Very much a joy to have as a pet.
its inhumane to allow more cats breed!!! just like humans over breeding and no homes, running water etc, God would not want people breeding just to breed, if they have not even basic survival.
Think responsible. Dont add to the over population.
It is better to spay and neuter them and thus have less abandoned, unwanted animals on the streets. Otherwise they are left starving and that is not in the least humane, no matter your religious views. It doesn't matter whether they attack or not, its a matter of caring for God's creatures.
Even if we have enormous number of cats in the streets, but they do not attack, and why this has to be implemented on Dogs also!! Despite religious views
Welfare & Animal Rescue Agencies neuter/spay animals before adopting them out as unfortunately people can't be trusted to be responsible and do it themselves.
This is the reason why there are so many homeless and stray animals in the world - because people aren't responsible and just let their pets have litter after litter of kittens/puppies etc.

do you have a problem with that? At least they are trying to do something about the feral cat problem in Qatar. They should be commended.
