New Employment Regulations stand Approved Now
New sponsorship law is out.
Main points:
1. Implementation after one year.
2. Sponsor shall be called as "Recruiter".
3. Exit permit to be taken three days in advance.
4. Change of sponsorship is possible any time but with the approval of Recruiter.
5. After expiry of employment contract, there is no need of Recruiter's permission for such a change.

If you have finished your 2 year contract, or served 5 years in an open ended contract, you can only change to a new sponsor after getting Ministry Approval.
Even with NOC the Ministry will need to approval sponsor changes.
The law still not mention the prevailing 2 year ban on a worker who leaves the country after resigning his job. Well I guess still the same. This is not good for those worker who have unlimited contract/open ended contract with duration of 5 years.

How many months or year to comeback to Qatar if you terminate your contract and exit?

You can refuse the "offer" of five years and offer one year from your side. If they need you they will agree.

Brity, I thought it would be 5 years, but then I still need the Recruiter's approval and Ministry of Interior and MOLSA. Before anything happens, what if one of them rejects! Monkey has to go back to the city jungle!
