NISSAN COMPANY B.S. aftersales service

as i well know, nissan cars are known for their A/C. last thing that will go for a nissan car is their A/C. but here in qatar, the first thing to go is their stupid service, next their A/C.

had a 3 year old pathfinder, bought in showroom, brandnew. 1st time i brought in my car, my mobile was stolen, and no thanks to their stupid manager, even we caught the perpetuator, nothing was done. 2nd time small things gone missing in my car, third time a month ago, my A/C went bust. the reception was a stupid help, after 3 weeks of without the car, they gave it back, replaced the compressor for all the good it did, the A/C was pretty much screwed. and another part of my car was missing.

conclusion? STOP BUYING NISSAN.... B.S. SERVICE WITH THEIVES AS STAFFS.....

Rikikulit, car's are not your choice of vehicles. I suggest you go for a rickshaw.....

Give a thought about it!

Service Advisors are deceitful, disrespectful and will even tell you he will call back after an hour because he is eating (at 10:00 IN THE MORNING!), yet he does not call AT ALL.

When you ask for the update on the service of your car, he will tell you he doesn't know and will tell that the Supervisor will call but, again, NO CALL will be made and you are again left in the dark.

You call him back and the mobile is switched off, you try to call the land phone in the service center, no one is answering...if somebody answers, you will be forwarded to the Bodyshop, where AGAIN NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE! If finally someone picks up the phone to talk to you, and you ask what's the status of your car, they will again repeat the same status they have told you the previous week without any progress at all!

My car's been there for a month now and still they do not know exactly when it is going to be finished. They give crap about "only one insurance coordinator" or "they lack manpower" or "your car has huge damage", really crappy excuses to justify the delay in fixing up your car.

just an update

after my A/C issue, car came back to me with a vibrating sound, WHICH THE COMPANY CANNOT FIND, how convinient. and during my 40000km service i found out that some clips were missing, the fan motor was not fitted on properly, they still cant find the source of that vibrating sound.

DAMN GOOD SERVICE.... guess the manager will surely call me again after this post....

Yes I have used the service center in the Industrial area for 2 years before moving to Wakrah and starting to use Nissan locally. Never had a single problem, never had anything missing. Love the vehicles and would buy another Nissan tomorrow if given the chance. Just my honest opinion - and am no Filipina btw.

@ alumar, have you tried getting service at main center at industrial? maybe after that your perspective in life about nissan qatar would change.

i had a neighbor before, a service supervisor at nissan. took his car in for maintenance, came out with some parts of the car swapped with damaged parts.

@ shaine  and alumar, i am from the philippines. but even me feel ashamed by the attitudes of filipinos, the guy took two things that day in my car. a pen and the mobile, i caught him because the pen was in his pocket when we confronted the technicians involve with my car. stupidly the managers just let him off.

@ shaine, my info for nissan is all their cars that came from US almost all A/Cs have problem, rubbers and dampers, bushing also have shorter lifespan.

Guys in nissan service center are mostly from SEA they steal everythin' from cd to tires.  Nissan doesn't seem to pay good to their workers and that's why these guys are tempted.  The management gives a warning before leaving the car for service which the workers take it for granted.  If you forget, by any chance, anythin' in the car they eat everythin' you leave in your car.

Shaine, keep your crappy 'filipino sarcasm' comment to yourself. Racist comments are for lowlife people!!!!

I've got 2 X-Terras, fantastic service, attentive staff, no problems whatsoever. The Abu Hamour and Wakrah service centers are fab! Nothing to say against them :-)

When I took mine in for a service, they warned me to take everything out of the car because they said 'things go missing' which is code for, we know our staff steal things from the car and there is nothing we can do about it.

As for the rest, honda toyata etc, I here bad things about them too. they are all the same, as one company has the monopoly on servicing, there is nowhere here to take your car, you are basically stuffed.

It happened to me too. They stole my sunglasses while I gave my car for servicing...Even after complaining, they  didn't even bother to question the technicians. Very unprofessional people..I will never purchase another Nissan from Qatar.
