Nonprofit/voluntary / Community social affairs group & other related activities.

I just got the feeling to write this how a profit and nonprofit voluntary social  activity is measured.

For an example if a group is formed to serve a particular community under the name of nonprofit voluntary organization and if they have spent the money which they collected from different sources for their expenses, such transport, food etc,.

Can this be considered as a wage for a job done.

Also some of community group in this nature arrange gathering in star class hotels and spending a considerable amount of money.

Also when they elect office bearers they spend too. My question is the mechanism of nonprofit/voluntary communal groups, should they work without a wage or with a wage.

Also is it appropriate to spent collected money for the above reasons.

The people who form this kind of group, Should they be in a wealthy class. Or else physically and mentally fit people who can handle few affairs voluntarily without a wage. Or It can be a group of people who can contribute in different forms. May be few with funds, few with time, few physically, etc., (But not benefiting any single riyal from the collected funds)

I have no obligation about a communal or a social affairs group. There are lot of good things happening and it’s appreciable. Just to be precise with the name and intension.

As some of the people they claim that there doing this voluntarily and it’s completely nonprofit. But it’s a bit contrast comparing to the above expenditure & points.

The matter is coming to the mind as they claim and out spoken about the cleanliness. It’s not a question of scrutinizing people who do a good job but still they are trying to be so pure can be a question mark by irrelevant talk from them about the pureness.

This writing is not to harm or directed anyone, it’s just a thought to share with the expert team here and other QL members.
