I love Qatar, but if I had to choose somewhere else:

Just came back from Houston,TX last week, nice place to be.

The city I like most would be Paris, France.

Absolutely jalapenos on those nachos with cold LSB!

Ribs, flour tortillas, hot pico de gallo---sounds like heaven. I can almost smell all those delicious aromas.

NFH--oh, yeah, come on down!

Fichoza beach in Bulgaria

Relaxing on in the sun...dipping in the clear and cool Black Sea.

Slowly Drinking $2 Zagorka beers and watching the monokini's playing Volleyball with laughter and smiles for all.

Nightime: backgammon and beers with the boys before heading to the Beach Clubs and dancing till 4am.

Relaxed, warm and free :-)

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Going to pub or a bar in the evening.

Im kinda happy where I'm at.

I miss home... Salt Lake City. I miss Amsterdam (home for 3 years) because of the vibe and the mix in cultures and the whole Euro-environment. I miss Cape Town like crazy (home for 4 years) because of the magnificent beauty, the people (don't miss the crime!!!!) and the great ZA wine!

But, I like Doha.... its comfortable. Its easy. We know where everything is... its small town but not too small. Its got its ups and downs but living here is pretty easy. I can find what I need (normally), enjoy the people I meet and love the different cultures.

Somewhere in Europe. I like MrsJacko's idea, but my dream afternoon would be sat in a pub with two or three of the UK Sunday papers stacked in front of me, slowly getting pissed.

Or in southern Europe. Sat outside a small restaurant, picking at olives or bread, pretending to read a classic novel, slowly getting pissed.

Or maybe sat in a smoky eastern European cafe, playing chess, slowly getting pissed.

Notice the pattern? I miss getting pissed in the afternoons in a relaxed atmosphere. It's all a bit hard-core here.
