hey people. i have been getting job offers since i arrived here:) it feels some good and sometimes confusing..

my last offer was from oman. i am not so interested. only the project is giant like the one i m having here. and the company has better reputation from mine.

anyway. can u compare oman to qatar? is social life better there? living costs are probably lower than here. how are local people? any nice foreigners there? think it is more beautiful than here. and i dunno the climate..

so can u say something to compare here and oman. didnt contact them but maybe offer will be good.

Oman is wonderful. I would move there in a second. There's so much more to do, the people are much friendlier and it's just such a beautiful, beautiful country!

Oman every time.....they are truely the friendliest of all Gulf Nations. The climate is there is better too, the cost of living is cheaper. Unfortunately salaries are much lower than here, which is why so many Omani's come here for work. I work with several and they are honest, hard-working, friendly, funny people. Dont get me wrong i enjoy my time here in Qatar and have met many great Qatari's...the only difference is i havent met an Omani i didnt like.

Now where 's my suitcase

First and foremost,Check out the pay and the cost of living in Oman.Though one has a lot more places to go in Oman but don't forget that the more places you go,the more you spend. All in all,Oman is a nicer place but i wouldn't go for that if the pay is not better than what i could earn.

i ll tell you a lil joke nib. one of my uncles is in a top post in a major company in oman.we were all persuading him to join here. after discussing practically everything under the sun, pros, cons etc..he finally said son i am not coming here BECAUSE in oman I CAN SHOW THE FINGER TO AN OMANI and get away with it whereas i probably wouldnt in qatar"...lol. dont know how true that is but just came to mind.

I love Oman and would move there in an instant if I had a job offer. The people are super friendly, landscape really pretty with plenty more to do...the most important thing is that you get to swim with dolphins and the turtles are so cute!

Best thing to do is check it out and see for yourself before deciding anything, as everyone is different...who knows, you may prefer Doha!
