All of the 10 competing boats are American and they were competing against each other.

I heard that the transport of these boats, drivers and crews was quite an expensive endeavor funded by the Sheik.

Glad to hear the driver was ok.

this incident is expected to this kind of sport, in every race they experience this one.

you can turn on that speed only in one case ..

Apply the physics:

Put all the car load on the front so the car will be steady or stable and the back will swing

in other word "Drifting"

that's the only way u can survive in a turn with that speed ..

and even with that, there is still a risk to turnover

cuz 400 or 500 kms/hr is way too much for a turn ..

what you do...have fun but always one should remember of safety first...as it not just involes one person with it but many...

400 Km/hr - 500 Km/hr???

HUH - Imaginative! Try to apply Physics on it, is it doable?

Which Round About by the way? If the Round about is big enough like Losail Circuit they yes that's doable!

Go get some life!!!

I agree that qatri drivers make sharp cutt with 500km/hr on the road but not in the Sea.

Anyhow Qatar also have good and smart drivers

If the driver is qatari, he will not make that mistake. Most qataris can drive and turn on roundabout with a speed of 400km/hr.

So he was not, he still was speeding.

This is quite common for these "boats". They can take off and overturn quite easily.
