Osama bin Laden applies for 'Best Job in the World'
It has been billed as a dream job in paradise, so it is not surprising that the well-paid role of caretaker of Hamilton island on Australia's Great Barrier Reef has attracted interest form far and wide.

However, one application video stands out from the rest. The grainy film shows al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden explaining why he is the man for the job.
Clearly a spoof, the 30-second video has proved a hit on YouTube.
In the cleverly-subtitled clip, bin Laden describes the qualities that make him the best choice. He boasts of a "love of the outdoors and sandy areas", being "good at delegating" and having experience "organising large-scale events".
Bin Laden is believed to be in hiding somewhere along the mountainous border between Afghanistan and Pakistan and occasionally releases video and audio messages.
More than 10,000 people from across the world have applied for the job, created by Tourism Queensland as part of a markering campaign to promote the Whitsunday Islands.
The role involves living in a lavish beach-side villa on the island for six months, relaxing in the sunshine, exploring the reef and writing a blog about life in paradise. Applicants have until Feb 22 to lodge their videos at the job's website .
Tourism Queensland has confirmed it received an application from someone called bin Laden, but said the video had been rejected as inappropriate.
