Out n About ??

Hi everyone,

Just joined this forum as I will be spending 6 weeks in Doha from 7th July.. Judging from my brief research, I can see why they wanted me for relief (engineer) in July, damn it gets hot...!!
Anyway, while I'm there I will have the use of a Ford Explorer and was wondering if anyone has some good routes for exploring (albeit, small tours the country. I would like to make the most of my time there, hence the question on here and not wasting time researching on my own as that is an easy way to miss spots only a local knows...
So come, Qatarians, spill the beans and give me the secret places to see :)
Hope to also meet some nice people while I am there, so any tips on good places to accomplish that would be appreciated.
