Will it never end ??? Where do you draw the line??????

Britain's Got Talent stripper Fabia Cerra has prompted dozens of complaints to Ofcom from viewers who claimed her act was unsuitable for family television.

The 35-year-old housewife stunned the judges on the ITV show by performing a burlesque dance in a basque, red stockings and nipple tassles. One of the tassles fell off mid-routine and ITV covered her breasts with two Union flags imposed on the screen.

As Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan looked on open-mouthed, it was left to co-presenter Ant McPartlin to dash on stage and offer to protect Cerra's modesty. All three put her through to the next round, with Morgan exclaiming: "You are my kind of woman," and Cowell telling her: "Fabia, I absolutely adore you."

Afterwards, Cerra explained: "I stuck the nipple tassels on really hard because it's a family show, but my left one came off. I can honestly say it was a complete accident."

Ofcom received 39 complaints from viewers and the media watchdog will rule on whether or not the clip warrants an investigation into a possible breach of the broadcasting code relating to taste and decency.

as to why this has anything to do with being "PC". If it were PC, we would be discussing a 35-year old ecdysiast with a wardrobe malfunction. ("Stripper," after all, is such vulgar parlance.) A bunch of prudes it may be. "PC" it ain't! ;-)

Mary Whitehouse was the self proclaimed head of a media watchdog in the UK.. She felt that she and her group needed to fight the moral decay taking place in the country during the 60's to the 90's..

She passed away in 2001.

Long ago I worked with a guy who said he knew Mary Whitehouse's son. My colleague claimed that the lad and his pals had access to the finest pornographic library in Europe.

Just 39??? How many millions of viewers has this show got and they only got 39 complaints? That's nothing.

I must admit that most probably don't give a toss or saw the humour in it, rather than taking it as an afront to their sensibilities. ITV covered up the 'portrusions" and the show went on with a smile..
