Pesky Neighbours !
OH MY GOODNESS! (he shouted out loud)
Is this a case of neighbours sticking their noses where they don't belong ?
Do you have such neighbours and would you complain also ?
A couple have been taken to court because their bed made too much noise during their lovemaking.
Police said they received ten complains from neighbours of the pair .
The pair were summoned under anti noise-pollution laws but they refused to pay the £86 penalty.
This led to a court hearing where Miss X, a hotel worker, said; "We weren't that loud." The judge said; "Perhaps not you, but your bed. We have witness statements that it was heard banging and squeaking around the neighbourhood from 11.30pm until 1.00am the next morning."
The judge threw the case out as the complainants did not show up for the hearing.

why I am very particular about soundproofing level of the walls. Can not afford a complaint filed against me! Lol!
Flor ... maybe there is a discount.... living next door.... to them... lol
But if the demand is higher.... the landlord will start to charge a premium.... lol
This is why I suggest not living mid terrace...
I want to know if the couple are Qlers! Lol! Maybe we can schedule a "mate-up"! Lol!

Not the UK... We don't have spring mattresses anymore ... Plus no-one really gives a toss about such noises :O)

If its on a continuous basis at that time of the night I would like to have a word with them. Taking them to court is taking things too far IMO.
Are beds really that loud? They aren't from where I come from..Or maybe our neighborhoods were more raucous! Anyways we've had some pesky neighbors (and perhaps,unknowingly, even been someones pesky neighbor..lol) but never complained. Guess their peskiness was tolerable,lucky us! considering the case in the OP, since I can't fathom such noise from a bed I'd say I wouldn't have complained.
