Belgrade: I am from Belgrade, Serbia. It's The Saint Sava Temple, the biggest temple on the Balkan peninsula. There is a large park around and it’s very, very close to my flat. I'm not religious, but I like it very much

I hailed from Quezon City.

From 1948-1976, it was the capital of the Philippines.

So i can only post a pix of the QC Memorial Shrine here.

[img_assist|nid=13021|title=Quezon City Circle/Memorial Shrine|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=440|height=370]

Quezon Memorial Circle/Shrine

The tallest structure in the city, Quezon Memorial Circle pierces 66 meters to the sky, a fitting tribute to the founder of Quezon City and one of the country's greatest statesmen, President Manuel Luis Quezon. The monument which was built in the center of the 27-hectare rotunda park also boasts a museum housing priceless Quezonian items plus the added attraction of the remains of this great man laid to rest in a bronze casket and marble niche.

Philippines has 7,100 islands. So here's another pix taken at Puerto Galera Mindoro.[img_assist|nid=13022|title=Puerto Galera, Mindoro|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=180|height=123]

Wish I have with me some pix taken at Club Paradise- Coron, Palawan and

[img_assist|nid=13023|title=Club Paradise, Palawan|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=180|height=100].

Philippines- known for its tourist spots, dive spots, nice heritage, and smiling people

Even Enya's song " Orinoco Flow" has got "Cebu" in it

...From Peru to Cebu hear the power of Babylon....

Good morning,

Shav

Its my opportunity to be the first, and starts with my home city Alexandria Egypt.

Alexandria is the second largest city of Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great on the site of an ancient fishing village, and with a harbor that was protected by the island of Pharos.
