Plastic Wrapping

Has anyone had the plastic coating put on their car, the shrink wrapped clear coating that is suppose to stop stone chips and UV fade? is it a good idea to have done or just a gimmicky idea. Car condoms does seem a bit strange but for added protection it might be a good thing.

I did on my. protection all of the car even the windows and dimond gloss, and it coast me 5,000 with warnty by zibart. and the are a very good company
