Please help him his neck is broken

I went to one of the shopping mall to finish some job in one of the banks, and then I decided to go to a coffee shop and have a coffee, and while sitting waiting, people are comming to the mall and others going out, and among these people were three young men who are chatting togather and laughing and suddenly a lady came to the mall and passed these guys, one of these guys turned back to look at her and make full scan of her.
A single quick look could be accepted for some women but for other women it is not.
Staring could be normal for those who are used to it, but the funny thing is that some of those people who stares at others do not like when some one stares at them!!
The message is that if you ask others to stop doing something then you should stop doing it first.
The intellegent person is the one who judges him/her self before other judge him/her.

Na'am..blind following is absolutely a no no. And no true Salafi upon the path of the Prophet and his sahabah should ever blind follow anyone. One should always always seek knowledge and research as to why one should or shouldn't do any action. That was the way of the Salaf.

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 14:55

people who claim to be salafi or Muslim brotherhoods where the leaders say to their followers do not discuss so that you do not fall.

Following blindly is bad.

These people forgot that our prophet PBUH allowed his friend to discuss with him.

And also when Umar ibn al-Khattāb allowed a woman to ask him a question, those who do not know Umar ibn al-Khattāb can hhave a look at this link

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umar

More information can be found in the Islamic websites for those who are interested.

I agree we definitely and ideally need to correct ourselves before we correct others. But many of us seem to have the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. And notice the flaws in another's character than our own..sadly!

as long as you do not touch theirs.

Our prophet PBUH had a jews neighbour and never ignored him.

Our prophet PBUH gave an example of living with others who had a different belief.

Ok lets go now back to the subject

That's what Islam is about..stick to your beliefs and hold onto your eemaan. However when it comes to advising there are methods in doing so. Manhaj is as important as Akheeda bro...The Prophet preached Thawhid for 13 odd years, from what I memo Allahu alam, before he got onto other matters. If a person's akheeda is not of yours then how will they ever agree with your manners and beliefs? Will they not reject it then?

and you had commented on this in one of the posts, if the inside is clean, then it will affect the outside.

The dress is like the outside paint of a house but what is inside the house is what really matters.

But if the belief for example tells that the outside of the house must be painted with a certain color then it should.

The topic of dress has been discussed many times, let us focus on our inside and then automatically the outside will be changed.

That's not true LP. Men can be raped, and are more frequently than anyone would like to admit, by other men. It's just that when that happens men are told to be quiet about it to cover the "embarrasment"

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 14:30

there is a God who will take care of them and not me, my rule is only to advise and enlighten wrong thoughts.

It is all about self confidence, in my opinion the strongets the confidence is the strongest the sticking to the beliefs is.

Aah! A logical explanation finally.

By anonymous• 10 May 2011 14:28

Fundamentalist people are limited, SA. They are not able to adjust to the obvious changes that take place all around them.

By anonymous• 10 May 2011 14:27

It's because men cannot be raped, and if it should happen, they enjoy it.

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 14:27

We have never heard of the fundamentalist Muslims some years ago, and this term is used wrongly?

What is wrong with fundamentalist people, aren't they educated, maybe more than me and you?

Yes I agree with you eyes speak

Whilst many Muslim men, Arab and non Arabs are always for speaking about a woman's dress code in Islam, and how a woman should abide by them, I notice many men today seem to have abandoned the male's dress code according to Islam!Who's to be blamed for that? No one...they do so by their own choice as do the women. Fact!

Did you ever stop to think SA that it isn't the westerners deleting the border lines? That arabs are breaking them because they want to? And that these arab women are going naked of their belief's because they want to?

I can't agree with you, SA. A Westerner would not at all be interested in an Arabic woman. It's just too much hassle. And I think that there are more fundamentalist Muslims who want to 'delete' the Western culture than vice versa. I have never laughed about a veiled woman. And wearing the veil or not doesn't make a difference at all. The eyes speak, my friend, and they are still visible. And yes, you should look each other in the eye if you are not a coward or else you have something to hide.

I respect any Western as long as he lives his/her life according their style of life, I am not against what is here in Qatar, from drink in hotels, or night clubs,...etc. These are made for those who want to go their, if some does not like he is not forced to go there.

Qatari people are grown up and they know what to do.

My message is live with others maintaining your values and at the same time respect their values.

I am agains a Western who wants to delete the Arabic and Islamic culture, for example some Western wants the Arabic woman to be naked of her values and beliefs.

There are border lines which we all must not cross, live and let others live.

Those who want to delete these border lines I am against them.

Do not be very solid so that you are broken easily, and not soft so that you are squeezed, be flexible maintaining your border lines.

SA did you tell those guys off? or did you do the same as those guys and scanned the lady top to toe?

By anonymous• 10 May 2011 14:00

SA, nothing against you. But you are the one who is not trying. You have an answer (link) for everything, may it be a decent link or not. And anybody who doesn't share your limited views is not accepted by you. You feel obliged to 'save' those poor souls. Have you ever thought that they don't want to be 'saved'?

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 13:57

There is no person who is perfect, also some people refuse to admit that they had lost a debate, what is the shame if you yes your point is valid?

By anonymous• 10 May 2011 11:58

Why don't you start with yourself then, SA?

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 11:56

but turning and making scan I think it is not a good habit.

Those who like stare and scan, must not got angry when others do the same to their wives.

My message is:

Repair your self bfore you repair others.

I must say that some times I am curious, so I saw them doing something strange according to me, but any how it will better for me to ignore such things next time.

so SA for you to take in the whole situation you yourself must have been staring at them - what does that say about you?

By anonymous• 10 May 2011 10:23

So which women are acceptable to stare at and which aren't?

And why were you staring at these guys?

Ha, ha. That's the difference, TB. They stare at you, but the smile at me!

I don't know Rizks, perhaps it's my beautiful blue eyes, or my manly mature grey hair in a nice side parting, or my stunning good looks over all.

Then again they could just be thinking 'look at that fat ba5tard over there'

That's what you normally do to your enemy. You scan him. Otherwise you run away as fast as you can.

By Straight Arrow• 10 May 2011 07:48

we use in Arabic language to show that he/she stared more than enough.

First the guy turned his neck when she passed him and when she went further he turned his body to complete his scanning process.
