PO BOX address is safe in Qatar?

@Libra11, I think delivering via home address here doesn't work. They do not have that kind of mailing system here. I have been here 4 months and I still have to use my husband's PO Box for receiving items...

Can the post office deliver to home address or should we have po box ? thank you.

Last week, I received a painting that was posted in the States in January 2010, intact but 16 months later than when expected. No one could help with my query because I did not have a tracking number. I suggest the sender uses the option that allows for tracking. That way if it is delayed on the way the Post Office in Doha can help to locate your parcel. Better still, use a courier service if you can.

In general everything is checked by the authorities. There is no 'post secret'. They even open letters.

Alternative is to courier the gift to you, more expensive but very safe..........

yeah they are quiet safe, even if not what other option do you have, but according to my experience from last month it is quiet safe, i received few important things which i had forgotten back at home which i got it thought my company po box.

YES , THE P.O BOX IN QATAR IS QUIT SAFE AND GUARDED EVEN IF YOU GET A VERY PRECIOUS GIFT , IT WILL BE SAFE.

I think yes, because that's the only acceptable address here. hehehe! I use the p.o. box address of my sister's company before to received a package from my wife and i received it safely and complete. hehe
