Police Clearance for Americans HELP, HELP
I have just been offered a great job, on of the requirements is off course the “Police Clearance”, which I don’t have. A friend of mine and a brother contacted the local police Department who told them that I have to be there in person to obtain that letter. I defiantly don’t want to do this because it will be very hard and costly to do. The American Embassy will not help with matter. Do anyone have a suggestion on what to do, who to contact, so I can get this done without having to fly 8000 miles. Is there a waiver that I can obtain? I have already a Police Clearance that is about 7 months old, however my future employer said that the CID won’t accept it because it is more than six months old. Can anyone please please help?
Has anyone tried getting this through the FBI?
Try the embassy, even though they can be useless, I have trouble with them several times.
The US Embassy will take care of that. I am sure, I have seen it happen in Doha. Contact the Embassy and tell them about the reason for the clearence.
Good luck
you get a securtiy from the country of residence and meanwhile you go to the american embassy there is a application form that you fill out to request the security clearence.
they will help you,,,,,,
I had to go to the local police for mine and I did have to pay, if I didn't get it then no job!
