Poor service of QNB
Today I went to QNB Alsadd branch to collect cash thro.cheque which I received from my company. I was told that System is not working go to Salwa road branch,after I went to Salwa road branch, they told me go to Hamad Street branch.Hamad street branch staffs told that go to City centre branch.Evetually I decided not to go to city center branch as I am going to get same reply. If the system is not wirking they can clearly say today system failure in all branchs, come tomorrow. Really I felt sorry to say that I have spent 40QR by paying taxi to visit all branches.
they are good at service but i dont know why this happen to you but i would suggest you always make a phone call before u go when u are facing this type of problem...
and I went to Hamad same issue, so went to mall... had to wait 45 min to get service... what a joke not sure if the word customer service exist in Arabic..
The service was in fact quite good as they *tried* to help you.
What was bad was the level of knowledge, lack of training, and poor dissemination of information within the organization.
I suggest you read "The Goal" by E.M.Goldratt - an excellent book on how to manage a company :o)
It's worst services from QNB always. I sent a transfer application (QNB to Mashreq) to QNB on 25-Aug-10 but they did it on 6-Sep-10 after they received my in the morning. On the other hand on 6-Sep-10 they told me "we are doing our best".
In another case of transfer from Qatar to Bahrain through QNB they were unable to do. They made mistake while transfering & finally I send the same transfer to QNB again & finally it's done.
if system is down there is nothing much that any branch can do. I suppose staff doesnt have much idea about how the systems work
They are good at service, maybe they tried to help you to get the money from any of the branch (but they could have checked before they send you. atleast you could have asked if its working)
but one thing is certain, they played you! MAke a formal complaint!
