Hello all. My name is Amy. I'm from America and I'll be living in Doha for the next year. I am going to join the Doha Singers. However, I live near the airport and have no means of transportation other than taxis which are so unreliable at the moment. I was wondering if anyone on here sings with the ensemble and might be willing to give me a ride to rehearsals. You can contact me at [email protected] or my number is 5734984
Thank you so much!

Regarding taxis, it's amazing how quickly an unlicensed one will come up to you if you stand at the side of the road looking hopeful. Obviously I don't recommend this illegal and uninsured practice.

The Doha Singers are a regular SATB choir doing two concerts a year, ranging from easy Xmas listening to fuller classical pieces. Contact details in Mrahaba.

no am not kidding cuz if u make a deal with them theyre reliable, theyre useless if u call them now to pick u up in 20 mins u have to call like 5 hours before sometimes a day before, if that doesnt work i call for fox limousine or doha but i havent used both in like 2 years now plus they cost more...........
