President Bush has "a sickening feeling" Only
about the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq,
George W Bush had 'sickening feeling' over WMD lack
''Whatever the verdict on my presidency, I'm comfortable with the fact that I won't be around to hear it”
When he will accept killing of thousands of innocent lives in Iraq and rest of the Muslim World - Still many countries are paying price for his acts?
Rabboooba, punishing those who committed war crimes never really happens till after the war has finished and there is time to investigate the actions taken. In cases like the war in Vietnam, those who committed war crimes (yes American soldiers) weren't brought to justice till a few years after it ended, and the US Government was constantly justifying the war in one court case or another for decades after.
Even in the case of WWII the trials didn't start until 1946 and lasted well into the 1950's.
War Crimes are hard things to prove and can take decades.
You are ofcourse correct..
However, for this to happen you need concensus regarding the "truth". This is never going to happen.
Secondly, you need the influence and the power to bring the perpetrators to justice. Again a no go.
The only thing left is for history to judge the players.. :O(
Britexpat..I do respect your POV...however the Jews were killed in the holocaust and it does not seem the has moved on 60+ years later on, Auschwitz guards are still hunted down till today at ages of 80 and above, it is not fair to the victims and their family to simply "move on" with bring to a just trial those who were responsible for the chaos and killing in Iraq.
What can you expect from the Idiot? Books have been written on all the stupid remarks from this idiot. Imagine thinking that is an apology? He doesn't even know where most countries in the world are even located so doubt he knows the devastation his presidency caused. Even as stupid as he was I still don't think Americans understand the damage he did to our country, someone put a sock in his mouth, please.
That's why he's nicknamed B-Liar....
Always a politician, this is probabaly the nearest to an apology..
"I give my thanks to you, the British people, for the times I have succeeded, and my apologies to you for the times I have fallen short."
neither Bush had a remorse about what he did to Iraq
Atleast he has a sickening feeling. Can't recall Blair having any remorse
It's happened and the world moves on.
History will remember him for what he really was !
