Probation period/Sponsorship - Please help
Guys,from my little knowledge of the Immigration and Employment Law here, I understand you have 3 months to renew your residence permit before you start paying the fine.Now let's assume you do not renew your contract of work with your current company and find a job with company A just few days before the 3 months end. Your company issues your NOC and transfer of sponsorship is processed nicely. Now you have a new sponsor(company A) and everything goes alright. You are given 3 month probation period with them(company A). What happens if you decide not to continue your work after your probation period? Will the Labour department change your residence permit to a newer company, say company B? Does Labour Dept take into account the probation period or are they very very strict and will say they will not change your residence status onto company B since they have just changed it recently? Am I making sense? Please, for those knowledgeable with the matter, I shall be grateful for an answer. Thanks.
I didn't get your question. are you asking whether or not you can transfer your sponsorship again, after 3 months of the probation period? Or your question is about penalties for your expired RP?. By the way, was your RP eventually renewed by your new sponsor or is it still expired?

i am in the same situation at the moment. i found it stupid that i had to transfer my sponsorship even though i was on probation. moreover, i don't even know the details of my contract since i only signed a temporary contract that si to be improved after the probation period, but they didn't want to disclose the details..

I think the RP (new) will be stamped only after the probation period (it is like that in our Company)
