Problem getting into Hotmail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to get into hotmail for the last hour. It either say "Done" with a blank page or "Windows live hotmail loading" and thats as far as I get. Even my MSN home page, which usually shows if I have any messages is blank.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I give up. I've now got an AIM account, through AOL, it's free, no limits & you can also chat

It sends only one-liners.
I think i've had it with hotmail. i'm moving to "gmail".
Like Moudir I think Hotmail may be on the way out, that's why I succumbed to one of the messages I got saying to download Windows Live Hotmail or something - it seemed like they were phasing out the old Hotmail. Not sure, but something isn't right with it recently and, yes, Moudir, it is supposed to interact with Yahoo. I tried that a few months ago and it screwed up, so I didn't try again lol
At last everything is now working, even my MSN page has all my content bacck.
Still no idea what the problem was (could be gremlins lol).

i've been having problems with hotmail for the last couple of months. Some examples:
1. server busy (like Jauntie), it doesn't send, you have to save it as a draft, and resend at a later time, a real pain when you're in a rush.
2. it doesn't deliver attachments, even though you upload them.This happened on several occasions.
3. it doesn't deliver "all" the attachments if you have more than one. Again it happened several times.
4. there seem to a war going on between hotmail & yahoo; sometimes mail to yahoo is not delivered at all, even though it shows "sent". Happened several times.
5. i don't know if Q-Tel has something to do with all this. May be other QL member gurus can expand on this topic.
6. uploading and dowloading time absolutely "sux", it takes an eternity.
7. would this be the signs of a dying "hotmail", most people i know have moved to "gmail" with no problems. MSN audio/video is OK though.
Gave me grief for weeks. I suspect that if you don't have exceptional speed, it causes problems.
I opened accounts with Yahoo & gmail to get over the problem
at one point, a couple of days ago, when it was playing up there was a message about updating to 'windows live mail' or something. I even went along with THAT but it never uploaded properly, so ....
Maybe try removing the programme altogether and then adding it again - may be a bit missing (sorry I'm not a techie lol)
I tried closing my msn page and opening it again and it went in smoothly. Do you share your internet connection with others? Try also to scan your laptop for viruses.
Will have to be patient and try in a couple of hours. It will hard though as i'm not very patient!!!

I have no problem at all. Maybe its the setting of your homepage.
I have had problems with Hotmail the last couple of days (not today, thankfully) but the message I was getting when trying to send e-mail was that 'the server is busy'. !!! I was receiving mail, so I didn't understand. I rebooted puter and all was ok.
HOWEVER, it happened yesterday and I was unable to send OR receive (a friend was trying to send me something and told me they got the message saying server busy). Rebooting didn't help - waiting for a couple of hours DID help cos I seemed to clear itself, but NOT before I had deleted loads of stuff in case that was the problem.
Maybe they are having some 'general' problems or are updating their site at the moment?
