Problems with Vonage phone system

Just a quick question to see if anyone out there is having any problems using their Vonage phone system.

We can not make or receive calls nor can we connect to the internet through the that line.

My husband suspects that the Vontage box just went bad, but we had heard that in the past, Qtel had blocked the usage of it. Just thought I would ask before we went any further in the research of the problem.

I know someone who has vonage and he hasn't had any problems.

Thanks for the help and advice about Vontage. Got it straightened out now.

I also want to say that I really appreciate having this website/forum available. We were fortunate to stumble upon it. It really helped us make the transition to Doha go smoothly for my children. My city back home could use a site like this one. Thanks!

They used to block Skype but are allowing it now. So why block Vonage?

My first suggestion would be to not mention this on a public website because the V phone is illegal. QTel is probably watching you now! LOL
