Projector Screen Material
By Slytrellis •
Hi,
Can anyone tell me were I can get the material used to make projecter screens. I am setting up a projecter at home and want a screen that is about 2.5 meters by 2 meters.
I have checked all of the ready made screens in places like Jareer but they are too small.
Thanks.
Simon.
I have a sparingly used almost new UK imported 120"diagonal electric motorized projector screen with high gain and quality which I kept packed in it's shipping carton since I moved to a smaller premises,
I was using and I still have the 1080p native resolution with 3D and 3000 Ansi lumen Viewsonic PJD7820HD DLP projector with me ,if anybody interested I'd let go together or seperately and it has been used only less tan 100 lamp hours.
The LG LED is really good, the BEST part being the 30,000 hrs bulb life. It's like you will NEVER have to worry about changing the bulb :-)
I am using one of the small LG LED projectors.
Unfortunately I dont have a spare wall and currently use a white sheet which I hang from the ceiling. Its not bad but I assume something made from the correct material would give a sharper picture.
Thanks for the advice.

Nice. I use the Epson 8350 which gives me a 1080p through HDMI. Decent quality for the price. I can get 120" 16:9 from just 12'away, which is perfect for my room size. So far no issues with the bulb. Fingers crossed.
Do you mind sharing what you're using? I used the LG LED HX300, 1080p, HDMI, DTS, with coax and optical out. It suffices my need and picture clarity is really good.
Or you could get a 120" Elite Projector Screen shipped to you from Saudi or Taiwan. They are not too expensive and gives you gain. PM me if you want contact details. That's how I setup my 120" screen.
What projector are you using? 1080p and 3d?
If you have a wall to spare, you can try painting it white and projecting on it... that is what I do at home to watch my movies and it's AWESOME!!! :-)
You can try also: TechnoQ, there store is located in Salwa Rd. (try to google their nos.)
You can assemble also for yourself to get your desired size of screen all you have to do is buy a plain white cloth and assemble it into frame.
