For the past few days I've been unable to connect to GPRS. Today Q-Tel sent new GPRS settings which I installed but still can't access any GPRS-dependent service. Any ideas?
Had a similar problem, found out that on the HALA prepaid all you can use your GPRS for is browse and download from their WAP portal and send MMS's... you cant do anything else.
If you are on a postpaid system then it should be working... just make sure your access points on your handset are defined correctly.

Wow, my bill never got even close to that.
Anyway, GPRS working now so I suppose it was a Q-Tel problem. I'm not sure I like having 3 different accounts though; freedom, mms and gprs.
Watch out on the data charges...I never asked what it actually costs...my last bill had GPRS charges at QR300 !!!!
