Qatar airways to exotic destinations
Bike rides, Bebinca, bikinis sum up the spirit of Goa
Even if you have seen the best of beaches, you'll still have a lot unseen till you arrive in Goa. You become a local here in a matter of a day even if you have no one to host you. In Goa you learn on your own, fend for yourself, burn your skin in the midday heat, fall prey to touts, overpay, and yet while sipping the last drink of the day feel a gush of nostalgia, a sense of unbridled freedom.
South Goa on the other hand is more spaced out, more posh and austere. You'd love it too for its colonial charm reflected in the street lamps, the churches and the old bungalows lining the road, but might find it less lively and more idyllic compared to the colourful North.
You don't have to believe everything they say about Goa's callousness, for even the touts do not depart without a polite 'have a nice day', and the locals rush to your side when you can't find your way around

Restaurants are all so expensive... in India in the last 3yrs... but thankfully the price of beer has not shot up similarly... and in Goa its almost like buy one beer & get 2 free...
In Goa there is always Happy Hour... 24x7
Inshallah Rizks :P
will visit some day to Goa and if possible ask you Smokey for some tips and places to visit and restos to have food and other places as well....:)
Goa is a place where you can find all sorts of "fun" to do according to your budget..you just need to know where to go. Goa has become extremely expensive and its true about the ridiculous prices you see at the restaurants but there are some really good cheap places you can find as well.
Prices at any shops depends on who you are...Indian get one price while foreigners get another...and NRI's get another...trust me they can sniff who NRI's are :P
People come to go for sight seeing (recommended to do this on your own and not use a tour guide) and the parties...alcohol is cheaper compared to other states and you can find a place to party ever 10 meters.
The beaches have been invaded more by Indian tourists rather than people from outside India..its nothing like it used to be in the 90's :( everything has become more commercialized and its beauty is fading away.
and wots tat strange reasons are ?
and oh yes... the motorbikes on rent...
The worst thing about Andaman & Nicobar islands are although they have some of the most beautiful beaches in India...and the whitest of sands (it is 2000km away from Indian mainland almost further than Qatar...almost...lol) the Indian Govt have stopped all kind of Tourist activity there due to some strange reason...
Will Qatar airways be flying from the NDIA ?
I have never been to GOA but heard a lot through friends or online that it is a wonderful state of INDIA..
I am planning to visit this year...lets see if i can really make it...will surely update..:)
exactly. Its just like any other place free and very open society. It may not be that clean but London, Dubai or switzerland are not that clean too. All places have their dark side. A few of them like Goa, unlike so many other places keep their doors wide open so the whole world can see and admire
:(
and what would Goa be without the Russians. I hear they even have lots of Russian restaurants and other joints out there catering to anything and everything besides Russian taxi drivers carrying out their taxi business in Goa
the first 2 and the last picture is of Andamans Nicobar islands... only the 2nd last image is of Goa...
you didnt mention anything about the Rave parties... whats Goa without them... oh yes and the seafood...
Sorry but I did not like Goa... i dont know.. may be i missed something.
It was too hot and really humid.. the moskitos are killing at nights... the facilities are overpriced even by western standards... you have either really cheap places with horrible conditions ... or a good one at a rediculous price... Also lots of husslers.. I expected a a lot more when I went to Goa since I have seen some nice photos.. but yes the photos were nice... but the experience.. .no so much.
To be honest the best beach destination I have been to was Hawaiii... after Goa I had low expectations but Hawaii turned out to be amazing and the climate was less humid and things better organized.
Wow....very nice and beautiful
